what’s on tap?

beer tapsthis saturday, sunday, and monday, the oregon symphony again welcomes a pair of guest artists, who are ready-set-go to deliver a colorful overture from hector berlioz, a dark violin concerto from dmitri shostakovich, and the one-and-only symphony from césar franck.

why go?  um, i don’t mean to alarm anyone, but this is already the last chance to catch a classical show from the oregon symphony in 2012!  [i know: whaaa?!]  fear not for the band will return mid-january in a grand way, but in the mean time… get to one of these upcoming shows and end the year on the right note!  [and yes, that pun was intentionally inserted and the beavs takes full credit for it.]

for more helpful details, click on *the band’s website, call one of their lovely phone reps at (503) 228-1353, or stop in today or monday at their downtown box office at 923 sw washington.

ps ~ all classical portland’s amazing music director john pitman chats with guest conductor eugene tzigane 1 hour before each of these concerts.  come early and learn!
