so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye

before the beavs bestows a bow on this blogging season, it would like to offer thanks & happy trails to a pair of brilliant musicians who won’t be returning to the schnitzer stage come september:

mary ann coggins kaza has been a violinist with the oregon symphony for an amazing 42 years ~ wowee!  thanks so much for your multi-faceted dedication to this orchestra… may your well-deserved retirement be a time of enjoyment and enrichment.  yo, see you in the audience next season!

*matthew mckay spent considerably less time with the band, but it’s all about quality not quantity, right?  whether he had a tambourine, a triangle, or a tam tam in front of him, matt brought some seriously unfaltering excellence to the percussion section every single time.  simply put: he was the bomb, and he will be missed.  best of luck to matt and his betrothed in beantown!

Dude you forgot Sarah Roth. She’s leaving the band to focus on her teaching studio. Thanks Sarah and best wishes!
