what’s on tap?

tonight (tonight!) at 7:30 sharp and monday evening at 8 o’clock (give or take a few minutes), the band is gonna play a massive opening gem by richard “not-the-waltz-guy” strauss, a british piano showstopper by a 25-year-old benny britten, and mr. w. a. mozart’s final symphony.

why go?  um, if you’re asking, you haven’t been reading the beav this week. shame on you.  pianist steven osborne describes the music he’s playing as twisted, elegiac, funny, and pompous, while woody allen boldly claims mozart’s #41 proves the existence of god.  and you’re gonna miss this?!  i think not.

don’t be a fool ~ get more deets from the *os website.
