gone too soon

over the course of an insanely demanding season, micah “coverboy” wilkinson somehow managed to get in a few stellar auditions with the san francisco symphony, unsurprisingly scoring the 2nd trumpet position with maestro mtt (yah you know me) & the band of san fran.  the beav is both selfishly sad and extremely proud ~ totes mazel tov!  and as if that wasn’t enough, mr. wilkinson’s lovely wifey stefani is/was also the marketing manager for the oso and occasionally played with the band as well… it’s a double whammy of a loss for portland, i tell you what.  m&s: k.i.t. -cb.

btw, a big beaver tail salute goes out to all y’all who worked so hard in the oregon symphony cubicles this season, especially carl, laura, elaine, sarah, anne, molly, dave, monica… thanks for your tireless dedication to the band, as well as your completely unreasonable support for the classical beaver.

Aww, you’re too sweet, Brian! We’ll definitely miss Portland, but we’ll be back in a year. 🙂 Meanwhile, come and visit!
