auf wiedersehen, mr. vice president

everyone here at the cb home office was totally bummed upon hearing some truly craptastic news last week: the oregon symphony announced their vice president of media & public relations would be laid off at the close this season – a position currently held by the absolutely fabulous carl herko.  the vp has been an amazing supporter of the classical beaver from the moment it poked its head out of the blogosphere dam.  carl’s early encouragement meant tons, and for that i will always be grateful.  the beave raises its tail in earnest salutation – best of luck on your next professional adventure, mr. vice president!

Aww, beaver. If I didn’t already think you were the best, most industrious, semi-aquatic noctural rodent on the face of the planet — (which I do, but if I didn’t) — I certainly would after this.

    Thanks so much.

The Oregon Symphony is a genuinely great orchestra. Keep writing about them, and I’ll keep reading.
