2) well, yesterday was also that venerable holiday celebrated by tricksters everywhere: april fool’s day. um, yeah, so… about yesterday’s post… um, parts of it were true. i have cried along to this american life; however, the classical beaver is not (yet) going to appear alongside ira glass anytime soon. feel free to slug me right in the ol’ oversized incisors next time you see me. i do have to say my cockles were warmed by the many folks who thought the crazy idea actually seemed plausible. but c’mon, if you find yourself asking “is this an april fool’s joke?” on the first of april, chances are pretty good that something’s fishy. my half-hearted apologies to everyone who got punk’d by the beave – on the other hand, any reasonable person should have known i was full of shit (just ask mary).
