hit the shower

not only is “psycho” a nickname for one of our cats (sorry mimi), it also happens to be one of the creepiest cinematic experiences of all time (still).  you’ve got the red-hot janet leigh taking her final shower, you’ve got anthony perkins micro-managing the bates motel, you’ve got the epic directing of hitchcock, and certainly not least, you’ve got bernard herrmann’s disturbingly brilliant score.

what are you doing halloween afternoon?  well, the oregon symphony will be performing that slashingly great score live while the movie plays at the arlene schnitzer concert hall, sunday october 31st @ 4pm.  wanna go?  the classical beaver scored some tickets and the first person to email me (brian@brianhoray.com) will get a pair.  now you can’t say the beaver never gave you nothin’.
